The First Lady distributes School supplies in some departments in the country

A few days before the start of the new school year, the First Lady of the Republic of Haiti, Mrs. Martine Moïse, traveled through various departments of the country, particularly the isolated areas, to distribute school supplies. Many families were able to benefit from this program at the end of August and the beginning of September.

Thousands of children received school bags with learning materials for the new school year 2019-2020.  This school supplies distribution program has taken the First Lady to 5 departments of the country: West, North, North-East, North-West, and Grand-Anse.

Initially, Martine Moïse distributed the supplies in the department of Grand-Anse, in the communes of: Dame-Marie, Les Irois, Anse-d'Ainault, Abricots, Bonbon, Jérémie, Corail, Pestel and Beaumont from the 31st August to the 2nd September 2019.

Subsequently, from the 6th to 8th of September 2019, she visited the North Department, the communes of Limonade, Acul du Nord, Cap-Haïtien, the North-East Department, the communes of Trou-du-Nord and Perches and the North-West Department, the communes of Anse-à-Foleur, Port-de-Paix, St Louis du Nord. To continue her tour, Mrs. Moïse visited families in her neighborhood at Pèlerin 5 on September 11, 2019. Finally, the First Lady was in Carrefour on September 15, 2019.
